Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: PCOS groups: PCOS is diagnosed according to the European Society for Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE) and American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM) sponsored PCOS Consensus Workshop criteria (the Rotterdam criteria). Patients are 25 to 35 years of age and undergo IVF-ET. The long agonist protocol for the controlled ovarian hyperstimulation (COH) was used in IVF cycle. Patients have no contraindications of IVF-ET and TEAS. Tubal infertility group: Patients undergo IVF-ET just due to blocked fallopian tubes. COH used in this group is the same with PCOS groups.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Other structural abnormalities of uterus and ovaries are found by vaginal ultrasound or laparoscopy. Patients have neurologic, mood or psychiatric disorders, sleep disorders or take any tranquillizer. Patients received acupressure or acupuncture therapy before. The partners of the women do not have normal spermiograms and sperm morphology.
