Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 50 living donor LT recipients were enrolled from April 2012 to July 2013.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Recipients were excluded if they met any of the following criteria: presence of sepsis, shock, hepatoencephalopathy, hepatorenal syndrome, or massive pleural effusion, requirements for pre-transplant endotracheal intubation with mechanical ventilation, or use of vasopressors before transplantation, and any contraindication to fentanyl, propofol, or desflurane.
