Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Aged from 18 to 70 years; 2. Hepatocellular carcinoma with type II bile duct tumor thrombus that needs hepatectomy; 3. Preoperative liver function Child A-B; 4. Surgery is tolerated; 5. KPS=60 or ZPS 0-2; 6. No definite distant metastasis before the operation; 7. Patients and their families signed informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Non-anatomical hepatectomy; 2. Additional procedures were added to the operation; 3. Any other disease affecting the outcome of treatment; 4. Extensive peritoneal metastases were found intraoperatively; 5. A serious or fatal consequence of an anesthetic accident; 6. Death due to other diseases post operation.
