Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. More than 2 missing teeth in the maxillary posterior region; 2. Aged 18 years and more; 3. Adequate residual bone height of 2-4mm under the maxillary sinus; 4. TBuccolingual bone width of at least 6.5mm.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. General contraindication for implant surgery; 2. Severe hemophilia; 3. History of irradiation in the head and neck region less than 1 year before the study; 4. Poor oral hygiene; 5. Uncontrolled diabetes; 6. Pregnancy; 7. HIV infection; 8. Smoking more than 10 cigarettes per day or chewing of areca; 9. Acute infeciont in area intended for implant placement; 10. Local inflammation, including untreated periodontitis; 11. Severe bruxism or clenching habits.
