Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients with low rectal cancer undergoing temporary ileostomy

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) refusing to participate in the study; (2) Age =80 years; (3) the presence of unresectable distant metastases; (4) greater than 6cm widespread infiltration of surrounding tissues
