Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: All patients, aged 18 years and older, who were scheduled for either upper partial fibulectomy or unicompartmental knee replacement because of only medial compartmental knee osteoarthritis.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Exclusion criteria included previous knee surgery history, flexion deformity >= 30 degrees, varus/valgus deformity >= 30 degrees,any contraindications for these two procedures.
