Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Inclusion criteria included the following: patients >55 years old; diagnosed with severe osteoarthritis; invalid conservative treatment;

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Exclusion criteria included the following: patients with hemorrhagic blood diseases, hemoglobin (Hb) level <10 g/dl, with history of thromboembolic disease, rheumatoid arthritis, traumatic arthritis, disorders of the hips, preoperative use of anticoagulants, and patients with TXA contraindications.
