Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) highly suspected of papillary thyroid cancer; 2) consider to take therapeutic central-compartment (level VI) neck dissection; 3) have signed informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) lobectomy (hemithyroidectomy) or total thyroidectomy without central-compartment (level VI) neck dissection; 2) radiation history before operation; 3) history of operation on thyroid; 4) pathology after operation is not papillary thyroid cancer; 5) severe cardiovascular diseases; 6) take part in other research within 3 months; 7) the physician think patients cannot finish the research.
