Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: All patients, aged 18 years or older, who were scheduled to have primary unilateral THA/TKA for osteoarthritis (OA) or ANFH or DDH were considered eligible for included in the trial.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: (1) history of deep vein thrombosis (VTE, calfmuscle vein thrombosis or superficial vein thrombosis, pulmonary embolism); (2) cardiovascular or cerebrovascular diseases (history of myocardial infraction, angina, atrial fibrillation, or previous stroke); (3) clotting disorders; (4) discontinuation of oral anticoagulants or aspirin less than 1 week; (5) allergy to tranexamic acid (TXA) or ropivacaine or have contraindications; (6) serious liver and kidney dysfunction; (7) patients at high risk of thrombosis.
