Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients with primary hemifacial spasm; 2. Aged 18 to 75 years old; 3. Preoperative ipsilateral auditory testing revealing the average hearing threshold less than 30dB; 4. No operative contraindications, accept the microvascular decompression for the first time; 5. Sign the consent form for clinical research.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Operated patients with recurrent hemifacial spasm or with secondary hemifacial spasm; 2. Women during pregnant stage and breast-feed stage; 3. Preoperative ipsilateral auditory testing revealing the average hearing threshold more than 30dB; 4. Patients with low compliance or whom the doctor think can't cooperate in auditory testing; 5. Patients with serious mental disorders.
