Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: patients who were scheduled to undergo arthroscopic shoulder surgery due to rotator cuff tear, and whose condition corresponded to physical status I and II of the American Society of Anesthesiologists(ASA), aged 45 to 75years
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Exclusion criteria included coagulation deficiency, known neurologic deficit on the side of the operation, local anesthetic drug allergy, infection at the brachial plexus puncture site, severe cardiopulmonary disease, severe diabetes mellitus, psychiatric disorder, inability to understand pain scores, and chronic opioid use (>6 months), and body mass index greater than 35 kg/m2.
