Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. All of the enrolled patients are diagnosed simple obesity (phlegm-dampness retention), aged 18-65 years male or female; 2. Patients had not taken diet pills in the previous 6 months; 3. Patients can accept the catgut implantation treatment, and sign the informed consent agreeing to participate in the research as well as obeying the study protocol.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Pregnant or lactating women; 2. Secondary obesity induced by endocrine diseases or metabolic diseases; 3. Patients combined with severe idiopathic diseases such as cardiovascular disease,liver disease,kidney disease,hematologic diseases and mental disease; 4. Patients who are fainting during acupuncture treatment1.
