Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) Aged 45 to 60 years woman meet the criteria of diagnosis of menopause and insomnia in both conventional medicine and Chinese Medicine; (2) ISI classification is mild and moderate; (3) insomnia course more than a month; (4) in the time of onset of menopause, the symptoms include sweating, palpitation, dizziness, irritability, fever and joint pain etc.; (5) to understand the provisions of the day function and complete the assessment; (6) sign a written informed consent form.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) patients with severe mental illness such as depression, anxiety disorder and schizophrenia; (2) patients with severe heart, brain, kidney and liver diseases; (3) patients with secondary insomnia caused by systemic diseases such as pain, fever, cough, surgery, and other environmental factors; (4) patients who were treated with sex hormones in six months (5) patients in the past 2 weeks have received other treatment (such as taking drugs such as diazepam and alprazolam) curative effect observation; (6) women in pregnancy and lactation.
