Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients with unicompartmental knee arthroplasty

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) moderate to severe osteoarthritis in the lateral or patellofemoral compartments (K–L grad[A] =2 by Merchants radiography) with localizing symptoms; (2) more than 15 degree varus deformity; (3) over 5 degree flexion contracture; (4) less than 90 degree active range of move (ROM); (5) non-isolated medial compartment arthritis; (6) rheumatoid arthritis; (7) infection and (8) the history of venous thrombosis.
