Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. ultrasound criteria for benign nodule; 2. the volume over 2m3; 3. the presence of subjective symptoms (neck discomfort or pain, foreign body sensation, and compressive symptom); 4. nodule volume increases rapidly in short term; 5. anxiety about malignancy change; 6. is the necessary condition.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. biopsy pathological proven malignancy; 2. ultrasound criteria for malignancy (anteroposterior:transverse diameter ratio (A/T) >1, microcalcifications, marked hypoechoic, and ill-defined margins), although biopsy pathological result was benign. 3. have the history of neck and head surgery and radiotherapy; 4. the nodules have the history of sclerotherapy.
