Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Rectal cancer was certified by pathology; 2. no serious underlying diseases; 3. the preoperative defecation function was normal; 4. the preoperative examination without distant metastasis; 5. the function of heart and lung were better.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Refused to participate in the study; 2. can not pass preoperative neuropsychological test; 3. unable to do laparoscopic surgery as complex abdominal surgery history; 4. With other malignant tumor; 5. With unresectable distant metastases such as liver or lung metastasis; 6. using neoadjuvant chemotherapy.
