18 Years to 80 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients with thoracic esophageal cancer who received R0 operations in Fudan University Shanghai Cancer Center and postoperative pathology: squamous cell cancer,positive Circumferential Resection Margin(CRM) 1. KPS=70 before radiotherapy; 2. Did not receive neoadjuvant or adjuvant treatment; 3. No clear recurrent or metastatic lesions before radiotherapy; 4. Intensity modulated radiation therapy(IMRT) is accepted; 5. Regular follow-up.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Exploratory thoracotomy or palliative surgery; 2. No clear recurrent or metastatic sites; 3. Recurrence or metastasis is not certain; 4. Death of no definite cause; 5. Irregular follow-up.
