Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Subjects age 18-45 years old with complaints of common cold not more than 3 days that is diagnosed by general practitioner will be recruited.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Subjects were excluded from the study if: they had underlying diseases in cardiovascular, neuropsychiatric, glaucoma, Thyrotoxicosis, liver, or kidney disorders, and subjects with a history of hypersensitivity to antihistamine/decongestant, who may need long-term antihistamine treatment and used monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI). Patients who complain with nausea, vomiting and diarrhea will be excluded. Subjects must not be used other medications prior study as follows: decongestant for 72 h, first generation antihistamine for 72 h, second generation antihistamine for 5 days, analgesics/antipyretics for 24 h, anti-inflammatory drugs for 72 h, or any GI drugs for 72 h. Neither nasal sprays nor nasal washes was to apply within 48 h prior to study.
