Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: (1) aged 60 years or above; (2) moderate chronic pain operationalized as scoring 40 points or more on the pain intensity subscale of the Chronic Pain Grade questionnaire [30]; (3) moderate depressive symptoms with CES-D-10 >=4; (4) native Chinese speakers; (5) basic ability to read and write, and (6) intact physical functioning with ADL subscale in OMFAQ = 14.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: (1) insufficient fluency in Cantonese; (2) cognitive impairment with SPMSQ < 8, and (3) hearing or speech impairments or with illnesses precluding participation in activity intervention. Informed consent will be obtained from all participants (Appendix 1).
