Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. In the age of 50 to 80 years old; 2. Corresponding to the diagnostic criteria for primary knee osteoarthritis; 3. Drug(NSAID, analgesic, and traditional chinese medicine and Chinese patent medicine used to treat knee osteoarthritis) elution for 3 days. With a WOMAC osteoarthritis index total at more than 48 and equal to or less than 72, which rank moderate to severe in the knee osteoarthritis classification; 4. A plain radiograph evaluated as ?or ? of the Kellgren–Lawrence grade.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Secondary knee osteoarthritis; 2. Target knee suffered from trauma or surgical history in the past year, with severe joint deformities( Genu varum or valgum>=8 degree); 3. Target knee received articular cavity glucocorticoid injection in the past 3 months, or sodium hyaluronate injection in the past 2 weeks, or acupuncture or moxibustion in the past 2 weeks; 4. With symptomatic coxarthria or patellofemoral arthritis of the homolateral target knee; 5. Inflammatory disease or other rheumatic diseases; 6. With acute meniscus injury or acute knee ligament injury/rupture; 7. Tumor, tuberculosis or spontaneous osteonecrosis around the knee; 8. With other diseases that need acetaminophen, NSAID or analgesic; 9. With uncontrolled hypertension or diabetes, severe cardiovascular and cerebrovascular disease, lung, liver, spleen, kidney and hematopoietic system disease, tumor, hemorrhagic disease and mental disease; 10. Cicatricial diathesis or esthesiodermia; 11. Pregnant or lactating women; 12. Refuse to sign the informed consent.
