18 Years to 75 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. histopathologically confirmed rectal adenocarcinoma; 2. locally advanced rectal cancer (LARC,T3-T4 and/or N+) assessed by both plevic magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and endorectal ultrasonography (EUS); 3. the inferior margin within 12 cm from the anal verge; 4. aged from 18 to 75 years; 5. Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group (ECOG) performance status of 0 or 1; 6. good blood, heart, liver and renal functions.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. distant metastasesincluding but not limited to the liver, lungs and brain; 2. with other malignant tumor; 3. previous treatment including chemotherapy or radiotherapy for LARC; 4. patients had received major surgery procedure with four weeks; 5. patients with uncontrolled high-risk hypertension or arrhythmias; 6. current or recent take anticoagulants or thrombolytic agents; 7. the patients who can not cooperate with the examination and treatment.
