18 Years to 75 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Adult patients (>18 years old); 2. open chest wound; 3. Any wound >5cm in length.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. emergent operations; 2. corticosteroid therapy; 3. concomitant infections; 4. Known metal allergy; 5. comorbidities such as insulin-dependent diabetes.
