Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. These patients were diagnosed with functional constipation according to Rome III criteria; 2. The first time to accept the biofeedback therapy; 3. Not less than 18 years old.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients who had a history of organic disease of the lower digestive tract; 2. Patients who associated with other serious chronic physical diseases; 3. Patients who had a history of mental illness or disturbance of consciousness; 4. Patients who can not provide prior informed consent or delayed informed consent.
