Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. according to diagnostic criteria:referring to pediatric mental behaviour and hypotrophy--mental retardation (Chinese Journal of Practical Pediatrics 2002;17(1):55); 2. age between 1 year and 18 years old, no gender limitation; 3. with parents' consent and cooperation.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. non-cooperation or less than 1 course therapy time; 2. complicated with psychosis or severe epilepsy; 3. cranial CT scan shows large area of lesions; 4. patients who have hereditary or metabolic diseses which can gain remarkable effect through etilogical treatment or surgery (like phenylketonuria, congenitial cretinism, congenitial hydrencephalus and so on).
