40 Years to 100 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients with age = 40years 2. The doctor diagnosed osteoarthritis of the knee and met the following conditions: (1) knee pain; (2) osteophytes on X-rays; (3) Have at least one of the following three conditions: Age greater than 50 years; Morning stiffness lasting less than 30 minutes; Crackling or grating sensation; 3. Patients with self-reported persistent pain lasting more than three months in the past 12 months; 4. Patients under treatment with prescription medications and/or over the counter (OTC) products for pain management in the past 12 months; 5. The patient informed consent to participate in this study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patient with joint or bone pains related to rheumatoid arthritis or other inflammatory arthritis; 2. Patient with joint or bone pains related to a traffic accident or metastatic cancers; 3. Pain caused by other diseases such as cancer, headache, chest pain, etc.; 4. Severe mental illness and cognitive impairment, such as alzheimer's disease, schizophrenia, etc.; 5. A patient who cannot walk or can only use a walker.
