Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: The medical records of a cohort of consecutive patients who undergo lung resection with lung cancer are reviewed.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Exclusion criteria are as follows: (1) patients with secondary malignant tumor; (2) information is missing or lost to follow-up of the patients, especially without VTE related postoperative image examine like lower limbs color Doppler ultrasonography or computed tomography pulmonary angiogram (CTPA); (3) patients died by other postoperative complications.
