Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: The definition of acute pancreatitis is based on the fulfillment of "2 out of 3" of the following criteria: clinical (upper abdominal pain), laboratory (serum amylase or lipase >3x upper limit of normal) and/or imaging (CT, MRI, ultrasonography) criteria.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: use of muscle relaxants, abdominal operation within the previous 3 months,acute peritonitis caused by various reasons except for acute pancreatitis, abdominal mass, acute injury to the urinary bladder, acute cystitis, neurogenic bladder, pelvic hematoma, and pelvic fracture.
