Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Male or female, age >=18 years; 2. Have a determinate history of cardiovascular disease, meet the following conditions: (1) Coronary heart disease (CHD diagnostic criteria refer to the China Ministry of Health in 2010 - coronary heart disease diagnostic criteria) Newly diagnosed coronary heart disease; Previous coronary heart disease; Previous myocardial infarction; (2) Hypertension complicated with one or more the following diabetes risk factors: Family history of diabetes; Overweight or obese, BMI >=24 kg/m2; Dyslipidemia (dyslipidemia definition see Appendix 2); Women who delivered a baby weighing >=4kg or were diagnosed with GDM; Age >=45 years.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients who have one of the following conditions should be exclude from the study: 1. Previous diabetes, except previous gestational diabetes; 2. Currently taking oral antihyperglycemic agents; 3. Have episode of myocardial infarction (MI), stroke or transient ischemic attack (TIA) for the past month; 4. NYHA class III or IV heart failure; 5. Planned revascularization surgery or other types of surgery recently; 6. With severe liver disease; 7. With severe renal impairment (GFR <25 ml/min/1.73m2); 8. Been pregnant or planning pregnancy in the subsequent year; 9. The researchers believe that the patient was not suitable for this.
