Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Part1: 1. Chinese Type 2 DM patients in outpatients' clinics of endocrinoloy, who have been followed up and treated for more than half a year and are taking antidiabetic drugs; 2. Male or female, 40-70 years old; 3. Informed consent obtained prior to initiation of any study procedures. Part2: 800-1000 endocrinologists from tertiary hospitals will be recruited for physician survey study. There will be no limit on gender, age, ethic group and income.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Part1. 1. Type 1 DM; 2. Pregnancy, breast-feeding or postpartum within the last 12 months; 3. Attending other interventional or non interventional clinical studies; 4. Patients who can't cooperate; 5. Patients in stress conditions such as acute complications, infection and surgery; 6. Taking medicines that may affect the blood lipid profile (except for lipid modulators); 7. Patients who are expected to have factors that may influence participation or evaluation of the results.
