18 Years to 90 Years
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: (1) at least 18 years old; (2) physical examination or imaging examination revealed thyroid nodules; (3) definitive postoperative pathological findings of benignity or malignancy; (4) definitive diagnostic cytological findings of benignity or malignancy at US-guided FNA; (5) inconclusive diagnostical cytologic findings at US-guided FNA and shown decreazed size or no change during at least 12 months of follow-up US.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: (1) aspiration of cysts for symtom relief of typically benign thyroid cysts; (2) the largest diameter less than 5 mm; (3) inconclusive diagnostic cytological findings at US-guided FNA with less than 12 months of follow-up US; (4) non-mass forming lesions.
