Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. The patients who accepted endoscopic examinations (including electronic gastroscopy, electronic colonoscopy, ultrasonic endoscopy, image-enhanced endoscopy, magnifying endoscopy and chromoendoscopy) in Beijing Friendshipi Hospital from January 1st in 2013 to June 10th in 2017; 2. The distinct endoscopic photographs and relevant medical records of the patients from the above group who were diagnosed as chronic atrophic gastritis endoscopically and were proved histopathologically. The histopathologic results should clearly point out the severity of atrophy and intestinal metaplasia; 3. The distinct endoscopic photographs and relevant medical records of the patients from the above group who were diagnosed as malignant gastrointestinal tract cancer involving esophagus, stomach and colorectum, with or without histopathologic results.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. The endoscopic photographs and relevant medical records of the patients who endoscopically diagnosed as chronic atrophic gastritis were proved histopathologically, but the histopathologic results didnt point out the specific severity of atrophy and/or intestinal metaplasia; 2. The endoscopic photographs and relevant medical records of the patients who were diagnosed as chronic atrophic gastritis both endoscopically and histopathologically, but the biopsy sites were ambiguous and lesions in the endoscopic photographs were difficult to be identified; 3. The endoscopic photographs show extensive or indistinct involvement of malignant gastrointestinal tract cancers; 4. The patients who only have pancreatico-biliary malignancy; 5. The patients who have comorbidity of malignancy of other systems; 6. The endoscopic photographs appear to be unclear and/or the shooting angles do not reach our requirements.
