Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: All VLBWI in the neonatal ward of West China Second University Hospital, Sichuan University during September, 2017 and December, 2019.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Discharge for non-medical reason; 2. Failed to receive thyroid function test and/or neonatal screening; 3. thyroid hormone exposure before enrollment; 4. severe congenital malformation or chromosomal abnormality.
