Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: The patients with colorectal polyps or cancer proven by colonoscopy and biopsy were admitted before surgery, chemotherapy and radiotherapy.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: The patients who were suffered from specific diseases (i.e., tyrosinaemia, alkaptonuria, phenylketonure, PD, chorea) known to interfere with metabolism of Tyr and documented cases of neuroendocrine neoplasm (i.e., carcinoid tumors, and pheochromocytoma), which are known for affecting the testing results of Tyr, were excluded from the study. According to the results of hospital hematology and imaging examination, the patients with liver and kidney dysfunction, the inflammatory state and other parts in addition to CRC were also excluded from the study .
