18 Years to 75 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Type 2 diabetic patients, 18-75 years of age, will be recruited. We diagnose diabetes mellitus according to WHO 2006 criteria.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. asymmetrical neuropathy of the trunk and proximal lower limbs; 2. peripheral vascular disease (non-palpable foot ulcers, intermittent claudication); 3. myopathy; 4. causes of neuropathy other than diabetes and significant neurological diseases; 5. severe concomitant diseases, and 6. pregnancy.
