Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1)The hospitalized patient comfort to the diagnosis standard of CAP; clinical diagnosis of CAP: 1. new appeared cough, sputum, or exacerbation of existing respiratory disease and purulent sputum, with or without chest pain; 2. fever; 3. The signs of consolidation of the lung,and (or) moist rale; 4. WBC more than 10*10^9/L or less than 4*10^9/L, with or without nuclear shift to left; 5. Chest X-ray showed patchy, patchy infiltrates shadows or interstitial change, with or without pleural effusion confirmed the item 5 and any one of the item 1 to 4 above, exclud the Tuberculosis (TB), lung tumor, non-infective interstitial lung disease, pulmonary edema, atelectasis, pulmonary embolism, pulmonary infiltration with eosinophilia, and pulmonary vasculitis can established the diagnosis. (2) male or female, ag older than 18; (3) patient with sputum; (4) the patient can communicate with the researchers well, understand and obey the rules of the research, agreed and signed the informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: If the patient comfort to any exclusion standard below,the patient will not have access to this research. 1. Patients with active tuberculosis; 2. Aspiration pneumonia or obstructive pneumonia; 3. The patient has a history of hospitalization during the 2 weeks before the symptoms onset this time,and can not rule out the possibility of Hospital-acquired infections this time; 4. HIV positive; 5. Can not understand and(or) carry out the Survey Programme.
