Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Asymptomatic or symptomatic intracranial middle cerebral artery (MCA) of atherosclerotic stenosis; 2. First imaging examination (CTA and MRA) found that MCA stenosis in proximal M1 or M2 segment, unilateral stenosis rate of 50% or more; Narrow on both sides, one side stenosis rate is 50% or higher, the other side of the narrow rate < 50%; 3. Ultrasound clearly diagnosis there were no or mild carotid stenosis (including intracranial segment of internal carotid artery) (stenosis rate < 30%); 4. Patients aged between 18 to 80 years; 5. Patient has at least one or more than one of the atherosclerosis risk factors: hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidemia, high homocysteine levels, and smoking history; 6. Patients clearly study purpose and requirements, voluntary study and followed up in accordance with the relevant provisions.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Non atherosclerotic intracranial artery stenosis, Moyamoya disease, arteritis, artery stenosis caused by radiation, acute artery dissection, etc.; 2. Patients with atrial fibrillation, heart valve disease, endocarditis, DCM, left heart mural thrombus or within 6 weeks left ventricular myocardial infarction can fasten a cardiac stroke; 3. Patients who have been known as coagulant function abnormality with relevant symptoms; 4. Patients have been given thrombolysis, intravascular interventional therapy or carotid endarterectomy treatment on acute phase; 5. Imaging quality not up to standard, affect the diagnostic analysis; 6. Patients after MCA stent; 7. Contraindication of MRI or CTA examination, such as: renal failure (eGFR < 30 mL/min / 1.73 m2, try to avoid enhancement examination), contrast allergy, cardiac pacemaker.
