Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Aged 60 to 78 years old; 2. patients with acute exacerbation of COPD (AECOPD)

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. patients with severe renal insufficiency (serum creatinine level >250 umol/L); 2. patients with AMI and caediac shock; 3. pqtients with more than 2-hour delay after urgent loop diuretic administration; 4. patients with history of left-heart dysfunction; 5. patients without transthoracic echocardiographic examination; 6. patients with pneumonia, pneumothorax and pulmonary embolism.
