Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. First-time patellar dislocation, positive apprehension test; 2. Less than three weeks from the first patellar disloction to surgery; 3. Medial patellofemoral ligament injury according to MRI.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Previous sugery; 2. concomitant liament injury; 3. large cartilage fracture; 4. type D trochlear dysplasia or patalla alta.
