Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.patients undergoing surgical consultation for thyroidectomy on the basis of thyroid nodule FNA or US examination demonstrating either PTC or suspicious for thyroid cancer in our institution; 2. no age and gender restricted; 3. patient who signs the informed consents voluntarily; 4. patient without contraindications of MRI examination.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. lesion size less than 7 mm, which is difficult for MRI to detect; 2. non PTC confirmed by pathology; 3. patient with contraindications of MRI examination; 4. fail to complete all the scanning sequence; 5. poor image quality, uneven fat suppression, obvious motion artifacts; 6. patients who are claustrophobic.
