Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. health control, defined as faeces routine and occult blood test negative population, with acute and chronic infection, tumor, autoimmune disease and organ transplant recipients excluded; 2. patients following abdominal surgery, including surgery for stomatch, colorectum, pancreas, and gall bladder,under either open or laparoscopic procedure; 3. intestine obstruction, consistent with clinical symptoms of intestinal obstruction, confirmed by imaging examination; 4. peritonitis, with a history of peritonitis risk factor, tenderness, rebound tenderness was detected on physical examination.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) age under 16 or over 70 years old 2) one with mental diseas 3) one can not cooperate with the bowel sound collection procedure.
