Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: We recruit patients (ages between 0-18 years old) submitting to pediatric intensive care unit who meets the sepsis diagnostic criteria according to the international pediatric sepsis consensus conference: Definitions for sepsis and organ dysfunction in pediatrics in 2005. Children with guardians and themselves (age > 7y) agree and volunteer to participate in the research project.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) Children with guardians and themselves refuse to take part in this project or treatment during this project; 2) Intravenous contrast agent or nephrotoxic drugs usage history(5 days prior to our project); 3) Having been diagnosed with acute kidney injury, regardless of the stage; 4) Chronic kidney diseases,which is defined as GFR<60 mL/min per 1.73? lasting for at least 3 months according to national kidney foundation KDIGO; 5) Renal Transplant Patients; 6) Requiring renal replacement therapy; 7) patients with anuria; 8) Cancer patients; 9) Patients who are participating in other medical researches; 10) patients diagnosed with AIDS; 11) patients receiving high-dose steroid therapy.
