Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Epleptic patients: (1) Age between 12 to 18 years, meeting the criterion of epilepsy (repeated seizure attack, epileptiform discharge revealed by EEG, origin of frontal or temporal lobe); (2) 18FDG-PET imaging show brain abnormal metabolism; (3) Disorder of cognitive function (Wechsler memory scale for children: MQ<=89; Wechsler Intelligence Scale for children: IQ<=89; Child Behavior Checklist: P10<=12.5P80<=24); (4) A total of 20 people (Men and women each have 10 people). 2. Healthy volunteers (The data have been acquired in previous clinical study, which was proved by ethical review and recorded in Chinese Clinical Trial Registry. Registration number: ChiCTR-OCC-09000358) (1) Age between 18 to 22 years, without any somatic disease, especially brain disease; (2) No history of substance use including analgesics, antiepileptics and antipsychotic; (3) No other serious concomitant diseases; (4) Willing and able to follow the program during the study period; (5) Men and women each have 5 people. 3. Written informed consent for all subjects.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. History of allergies to Contrast agents or tracers; 2. Having received any experimental drugs or protocols in half a year before entering the group , that is, having participated in another experiment; 3. Current or past use of addictive drugs, analgesics, antipsychotic and antiepileptics (no restriction for epileptic group to take antiepileptics); 4. Subjects receivied major surgery within 1 year before entering the group, or not yet fully recovered from the effects of major surgery; 5. Claustrophobic patients; 6. Unwilling and unable to follow the program during the study period; 7. Current or past mood disorder, anxiety disorder, psychotic disorder, or mental retardation based on DSM-IV criteria.
