Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Diagnosed with a comprehensive preoperative evaluation was completed for all patients, which included assessment by the Eckardt symptom scoring system, upper gastrointestinal endoscopy, HRM and timed-barium swallow

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with previous gastric and/or esophageal surgery, Barrett's esophageal lesions, esophageal stricture, liver cirrhosis and/or esophageal varices, active esophagitis, connective tissue diseases, allergic diseases, pregnancy, hemopathy, hiatal hernia, and other coagulopathy
