Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: All of the subjects were diagnosed with hyperthyroidism by typical clinical presentation, elevated serum TH, reduced TSH, and elevated serum TSH receptor antibody (TRAb) levels. All hyperthyroid patients were drug-naive before recruitment.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Subjects with the following conditions were excluded: diabetes, hypertension, cancer, pregnancy, lactation, subacute thyroiditis, postpartum thyroiditis, abnormal liver function, abnormal kidney function, and infectious diseases.
