21 Years to 41 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: The control group: 1. right-handedness; 2. age in the range of 18-45 years; 3. absence of a primary neurological illness; 4. absence of history of any other major psychiatric diseases; 5. absence of a medical illness that could impair cognitive function; 6. absence of any brain white matter changes in T2-weigheted magnetic resonance images; 7. no metallic foreign bodies, pacemakers, metallic dentures, or amalgam fillings; 8. HAMD score=17 and <24 and Young manic rating scale scores<5; 3. no diagnosis for any other mental disorders according to DISM-IV criteria; 4. medication-free for at least 2 weeks.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: The control and depressive group: 1. secondary physical diseases; 2. vital life signs was unstable; 3. seriously aphasia and agnosia and unable to communicate; 4. 24-item Hamilton Depression Rating scale(HAMD)scores >24; 5. excessive drinking and drug addict; 6. none depressive psychosis diagnosed by modern medicine; 7. seriously suicidal tendency(the third item of HAMD scores>3); 8. abnormal biochemical index; 9. woman in incubation and lactation.
