Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: The inclusion criteria of participants in autism: 1. Have a formal diagnosis of one of the ASDs by ICD-10 or CCDM-3; 2. The absence of any other psychosis or any medical history of psychosis(e.g.acute or chronic otitis media,acostic tumor,.etc); 3. The absence of a confounding neurological diagnosis; 4. Have no treatment of autism, or benefit little from the treatment; 5. The results of pure tone audiometry of 125Hz, 250Hz, 500Hz, 1000Hz, 2000Hz, 4000Hz, 8000Hz are all below of 20dB; 6. 226HZ acoustic immittance tympanometry is A type; 7. Repetition rate of transient otoacoustic emission is more than 70%, at least three in five band SNR are not less than 3dB; 8. The result of click-ABR indicate that the latency of wave V is in normal area. The inclusion criteria of normal participants: 1. Intelligence development is typical. The IQ result of WAIS is not less than 90; 2. Absence of autism or other psychosis or mental disease; 3. Absence of auditory system disease; 4. The results of pure tone audiometry of 125Hz, 250Hz, 500Hz, 1000Hz, 2000Hz, 4000Hz, 8000Hz are all below of 20dB; 5. 226HZ acoustic immittance tympanometry is A type; 6. Repetition rate of transient otoacoustic emission is more than 70%, at least three in five band SNR are not less than 3dB;g)The result of click-ABR indicate that the latency of wave V is in normal area.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: The exclusion cirteria of participants in autism: 1. Have no formal diagnosis of one of the ASDs by ICD-10 or CCDM-3; 2. Suffering from any other psycosis or mental disease.Have medical history of auditory disease or have auditory disease in the research; 3. Suffering from organic psycosis pathopsychosisi; 4. The results of auditory tests are abnormal, or become abnormal in the research. The exlusion cirteria of control group participants: 1. The results of auditory tests are abnormal,or become abnormal in the research; 2. The results of IQ test are abnormal; 3. Suffering from autism or other mental or psycosis disease; 4. Suffering from auditory disease in the research.
