Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: All adult patients who underwent colonoscopy were not diagnosed with other diseases except type 2 diabetes mellitus. Collect surface samples from the ascending colon mucosa cavity by using colonoscopy. (1) Case group inclusion conditions: the diagnosis of type 2 diabetes was definitely diagnosed before colonoscopy; (2) control group inclusion conditions: without type 2 diabetes mellitus, and matched with age and sex of the case group. Diagnostic criteria of type 2 diabetes mellitus: (1) the symptoms of diabetes + random venous plasma glucose was 11.1mmol/L (200mg/dl); (2) abdominal venous plasma glucose was 7.0mmol/L (126mg/dl); (3) OGTT, 2h venous plasma glucose over 11.1mmol/L (200mg/dl).;Inclusion criteria: All adult patients who underwent colonoscopy were not diagnosed with other diseases except type 2 diabetes mellitus.
