Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Adults 18 to65 years undergoing elective surgery requiring primary sutured wound closure. Clean or clean-contaminated surgical wounds ASA I to III patients Willing to provide written informed consent. Available for follow-up on postoperative Days 3 7 and 14

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Age less than 18 years or more than 65 years. Emergency surgery. Contaminated or infected wounds. Pre-existing wound infection. Immunocompromised patients. Uncontrolled diabetes or severe systemic illness affecting wound healing. Skin grafts flap surgery staples tissue adhesives or delayed primary closure. Refusal to provide informed consent. Inability to complete follow-up.
