Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients undergoing isolated CABG during the study period. Aged 18 - 89 years Patients willing to participate in the study

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patient undergoing CABG with other concomitant procedures - Redo procedure - Incomplete medical records Patients referred to other facilities before discharge

To assess and compare the composite in hospital outcomes major adverse cardiovascular events MACE all cause mortality myocardial infarction stroke between young less than 55 years and older more than 55 years adult patients undergoing coronary artery bypass graft surgeryTimepoint: within 15 days post surgery at discharge from hospital

To assess & compare post operative complications eg atrial fibrillation wound infections renal dysfunction between young & older adult cohorts To identify & compare potential predictors of adverse in hospital outcomes in both young & older patients undergoing CABGTimepoint: within 15 days post surgery at discharge from hospital
