Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Aged 14 to 25 years. Minimum 1 year of continuous Bharatnatyam training. Able to read and understand English. Body mass index 18.5 to 24.5. Presence of retropatellar or peripatellar pain lasting more than 6 weeks. Positive clarkes test with pain intensity 3 to 6. Visual analog scale score 3 to 6 during the last 2 weeks. Kujala score 65 to 94.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: History of structural knee injuries involving the tendon, ligament pr meniscus. Synovitis of the knee. Degenerative osteoarthritis of the knee. Rheumatoid arthritis. History of fracture or surgery to the lower limb. Participated in lower limb rehabilitation training during the previous 6 weeks

Visual analogue scale for pain. Kujala score for function. Dynamometer for measuring the lower extremity strength. Timepoint: Baseline and after 6 weeks
